| IMPORTANT INFORMATION |
| A. Disciplinary Committee-Iceland Adult Hockey Leagues (IAHL) |

|
|
|
|
| The disciplinary committee will review all of the following situations arising from an Iceland Adult league game: |
| 1. Game Misconducts/Major penalties |
|
|
|
|
|
| 2. Match Misconducts |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 3. Any fights. Before, during or after the game, while on the property of any of the rinks. |
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| B. Disciplinary Procedures/ Guidelines |
|
|
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Actions in violation of the governing rules, regulations, policies and procedures of USA Hockey, the IAHL, |
| |
as well as behavior that reflects poorly on any team are grounds for disciplinary action. |
|
| |
A wide range of disciplinary actions or sanctions are available to the Disciplinary Board. |
|
| |
These include, but are not limited to, verbal reprimands, written reprimands, game suspensions, |
| |
and season suspensions and in extreme cases, disbarment from the IAHL. |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| The Disciplinary Board will be comprised of three members with one alternate: |
|
|
| |
|

J-R Letourneau, Assistant Coach ODU |
|
|
|
|
|
| |
|
Ian Ward, USA Hockey certified referee |
|
|
|
|
|
| |
|

|
|
|
|
| |
|
John Giordano,Captain Kis Rangers |
|
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
In the event the board is dealing with an issue with one of the above teams, the altenate will sit in. |
| |
If both teams are involved, the alternate will by J-R Letourneau. |
|
|

| |
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| C. Disciplinary Process |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
The committee will review all misconducts, major penalties, fighting, and match penalties. The committee will |
| |
not overturn any on-ice penalty call but will review the circumstances to determine if additional supplemental |
| |
actions should be taken. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Players and referees may be asked to submit statements to clarify the situations. This is not a hearing process. |
| |
All decisions by the committee are final and there will be no appeal process |
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| THE GOAL OF THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE IS TO ENSURE A SAFE AND FUN ENVIRONMENT FOR ADULT RECREATIONAL HOCKEY AT ICELAND. |

| ALL SUSPENSIONS WILL BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE. PLAYERS SERVING SUSPENSIONS MUST BE NOTED ON THE SCORESHEET OF THE GAMES SERVED. |
