The hockey community recently lost Pete Rosa, a long time adult hockey player, hockey parent, and Initiation coach.  Pete passed away after a long battle with cancer.  Pete was born in New York and landed in Virgina Beach after a 30 year career with the Navy.  In sports Pete was a die hard New York Yankee fan and a avid fan of hockey.  Pete played in the Iceland adult league for the Spine Group.  Pete orginally got involved in hockey with the Hampton Roads Jr Admirals as a hockey parent and later as an Initiaion coach.
Pete is survived by his wife April and his children Pete and Jessica.
Pete will be missed hangin around the rink.  Our condolences to the Rosa family.
